# Dialpad

> Connect Dialpad so inbound calls pop the caller's context to the right agent

The **Dialpad integration** connects your Dialpad phone system to Dial AI so your agents have the caller's context the moment a call lands. When a call comes in, Dial AI pops the relevant information to the right person and can pass call details into your flow.

## What it does

* **Screen pop on inbound calls**: when a call arrives, the caller's context pops to the target agent automatically, via Dialpad call-event webhooks.
* **Call context in your flow**: call details are passed through as parameters your flow can use (for example, on call answer).
* **Observe-only mode**: run the integration in a watch-only mode first, so you can confirm it fires correctly before it changes anyone's screen.
* **Allow-list rollout**: gate screen pops to specific users by email, so you can turn it on for a few people and expand when you are ready.

## Rolling it out

<Steps>
  1. **Start in observe-only mode**

     Enable the integration in observe-only so it logs what it would pop without changing any agent's screen. Confirm the events look right.

  2. **Add users to the allow-list**

     Add the target agents by email. Only allow-listed users get screen pops, so you control who is in the pilot.

  3. **Expand**

     Once the pilot looks good, widen the allow-list to the rest of the team.
</Steps>

<Note>Getting Dialpad connected is an account-level setup. Consult your account representative to enable the integration for your tenant.</Note>
